Al Tomko's All Star Wrestling 1977-1989
The Canadian Northwest was a strong wrestling territory through the 1900's with wrestling promoted by the likes of Cliff Parker, Rod Fenton, Sandor Kovacs and many others. They brought the sport into venues from Vancouver to Victoria to Prince George and all towns in between as well as the west coast of the United States. Al Tomko came into the territory in early 1977 after successfully promoting wrestling in Winnipeg for the AWA. He would continue wrestling and promoting here through till 1989.
